Job Description

The University of Missouri is seeking an enthusiastic SeniorStudent Recruitment Specialist to help us recruit the nextgeneration of Tigers from St. Louis.

Qualified candidates will be passionate about higher education,eager to join a fun and hard-working team and excited to travelaround Missouri and the greater St. Louis area with someopportunities for nationwide travel.

Our Senior Student Recruitment Specialist will establish andmaintain a home office in St. Louis designed to plan, execute, andevaluate recruitment activities and high school relations in St.Louis and the surrounding areas. This position will provideinformation about Mizzou and the college planning process toprospective students, parents, and high school counselors. Thisincludes facilitating high school college visits, attending collegefairs, and conducting College Planning Workshops and presentationsfor up to 250 people. They will serve as the primary point ofcontact for students, parents, and high school counselors from theSt. Louis area for Mizzou.

This position will reside in St. Louis as a regional representativefor Mizzou's Office of Admissions and serve as a member of theRegional Admissions Team, managing their assigned recruitmentterritory to assist in achieving enrollment goals for Mizzou. Thisincludes coordinating pre-college visit calls and correspondenceutilizing our CRM, making travel arrangements, and following upwith students, faculty, and staff contacted during visits via phoneand email. This position also provides specialized counselingregarding admission and scholarship selection policies.

Potential opportunities to take online graduate-levelcoursework utilizing the university discount are available duringoff-peak semesters. Evening and weekend work with overnight travelto Columbia is required.

Paid training and a home-office computer setup will be provided. Arelocation allowance may be available.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education andexperience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparableknowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of Mizzouprograms.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $22.00-$29.00/hr

Grade: GGS-008
