How to retake the assessment test for Walmart? ›

Once you finish the Teaming Employment Assessment, you'll see a screen showing you if you failed or passed it. If you fail the assessment, it will show you the date you can retake it. It will be 6 months from the day you first took it.

You must pass ALL sections of the assessment to get a job at Walmart.

They might immediately share your score with you, or they might keep that information private. If you perform well in your assessment test, the hiring manager might tell you that you have advanced to the next round of interviews or offer you the job.

However, whether failing an assessment test disqualifies a candidate for a job ultimately depends on the company's policies and the specific role they are applying for. Some companies may allow candidates who fail the initial assessment to retest or provide alternative evaluation methods.

If you fail the Walmart Assessment Test, you need to wait another six months before you can apply. Additionally, they keep all previous test scores on file. The Hourly Retail Associate Assessment is scored along four paths: Poor, Good, Competitive, and Excellent.

There is no pass or fail. Assessment active just means that the hiring manager is now aware that you have completed the assessment and will review it for the particular skills and interests they are looking for.

Once you complete the test, your results will be in the “Pending” stage as our team reviews your session. We work to review results as soon as possible, typically within 1-3 business days.

Competitive Tier I means you pass but can only apply for Current Department and Academy Trainer positions. Competitive Tier 2 means you can apply for all manager positions like Cap, Support, Coach, Team Lead and even higher. For new candidates you only see a pass or fail.

Walmart assessments have a band score that is not publicly known, and you can only see if you pass or fail the tests. Based on your answer, they will rank your performance in 4 score categories: Poor, Good, Competitive, and Excellent.
