Warpriest Builds in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous are made up of your Class Features, Abilities, Ability Scores, Feats, Spells and your Weapons, Armor and Skills. All of these things combine to determine how your Warpriest Buildplays, and it's a lot to take in if you are a new player, or even veteran. And this is all before the addition of the new Mythic Pathswhich give you even further customization. When you complete quest The Burning City and A Blow from the Sky, you will get 1 level of Mythic Hero class.
Notable things about Warpriest Builds are as follows:
- Fighter Feats
- Can cast Divine Spells up through Level 6
- Can use Sacred Weapon and Sacred Armor
- Can use Fervor to heal or deal damage
The combination of Spellcasting and Fighter Feats is rare in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, making the Warpriest Class very very good. Warpriest Builds can also buff their Attack Rolls and Damage Rolls with Sacred Weapon, as well as Armor Class with Sacred Armor. What's great about Sacred Armor is that it buffs your Armor (item), and not yourself, so you can also use another Armor Class Enhancement buff that targets yourself if you want.

Healing Tank:
Warpriest/Shield Bearer
This build seeks to be an almost untouchable clanking tank withgood healing abilities, and an incredible protector against Abysmal Corruption during Rests, significantly aidinglong Abyss crawls. Weakness ismind-affectingspells due to low Int., so look to buff spell resistances. Damage is lower than 2 weapon fighters but good AC with Heavy Armor & Shield. Keep Defensive Fighting on, turn off right before attack with no movement, then turn on again immediately after attack. Get AC as high as possible and draw enemy attention & attacks to you (keep halo on, demons hate Good Aasimars). Keep Lore/Religion as high as possible: +1 Skill Point @ Lvl 1 yields a +10 Religion check! Low intelligence (8, which frees 2 Skill Points for other ability)due to lack of schooling as an Mendevian Orphan (MO background grants +1 Religion, +1 on all Saves against demons), while hanging out a lot with the nice local Priest father-figure helping homeless orphans w/ food & shelter. Iomedae is an obvious choice for a god, but Sarenre additionally takes CGwhile still favoring a one handed weapon (Scimitar). Suggested Alignment is LG (Iomedae) or NG (Sarenae), allowing max choice between Lawful and Chaotic actionswhile always choosingGood reactions in dialogs. For Weapon Focus, choose a one-handed weapon, Consider the favored weapon of your deity (you AREthe god'sCleric after all), but you're not bound to that - any weapon focused on is treated as a Sacred Weapon.
THIS SHIELD BEARER BUILD (think about it...) SHOULD AVOIDUSE OF NON-RANGED TWO-HANDED WEAPONS!
Ranged weapons are fine for distance work, but remember you are a front-line heavy armor tank.

Obviously, add Attribute points to STR and then CON first, unless you want to concentrate on bosting WIS, also a very valid choice for healing & aid spells.
