This was our first RV trip. We could not have been treated any better, they went out of their way to make sure we were setup safely and had everything we needed. The bathhouse is exceptionally clean and offer great privacy. The location is great hale way between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This will be our go to park for future visits!!!

My family and I stayed here for six nights with the first night being on July 3rd. It was wonderful. The grounds and facilities are all exceptionally well maintained and there is mature landscaping with several full shade trees on the property unlike newer or more crowded RV properties. The customer service is that of a bygone era. The owner called me while I was on the road to give me traffic updates and gave me a couple alternative routes to dodge Pigeon Forge traffic. Really nice, well-kept RV Park. Not huge in size, so not much traffic and reasonably quiet. Bathrooms are a bit dated, but they were extremely clean, and kept that way throughout our stay. Very comfortable using the bathrooms and showers as they were kept very clean. My only comment is that the camp store is not open very long, and not too much is offered there. This RV-only campground is the closest to downtown Gatlinburg, with a trolley stop right at the entrance. We were in the back-in sites by the creek, which were level and had a cement patio and grass. There isn't a lot of space between sites, but it's enough to put out your awning and chairs. The asphalt road allowed our children to ride their bikes. The creek campsites back to mountains and trees and there's a scenic drive immediately behind the campground. Despite proximity to the highway, we did... Read More

Twin Creek is very proximate to Gatlinburg and the west entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (25 minutes away through Gatlinburg which can become congested). The resort is down the hill beside the 441 highway (a 4 lane road with 35 mph limit if I recall correctly) and next to the creek. The facility is clean and very well maintained, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful - it is a long term family run business. We didn't try out the restrooms however many campers... The resort is down the hill beside the 441 highway (a 4 lane road with 35 mph limit if I recall correctly) and next to the creek. The facility is clean and very well maintained, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful - it is a long term family run business. We didn't try out the restrooms however many campers used these facilities including the showers and appeared well satisfied. No issues with the full hookups provided. The sites are not oversized but consistent with most other commercial RV facilities we have tried. The roadways in the facility were asphalt paved and in excellent condition. The RV pads all appeared to be level side to side but some of those on the far slope (further away from the road) were only level front to back in the area where the camper would be parked. The owners assisted folks to get backed squarely into the back in pad sites which was very helpful. Each space had a picnic table and fire ring. The only issue we had was that the spaces close to the creek were also next to the main road and with a light sleeper in our camper we opted to request a move further away from the creek/road. I reduced the facility rating by 1 star to reflect this condition. The hosts were very accommodating and showed no annoyance whatsoever. We will definitely stay in this facility anytime we plan to visit GSM N.P. again,

I've been RVing (Class A) five years and this is the best park I've stayed at. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Asphalt pads and cement patios, picnic table and long bench at the campsites. Great pool, kiddie pool, and whirlpool. All scrupulously maintained. Friendly helpful staff, they are great. Take your cable off "Boost" for great reception. If you didn't tow a vehicle you can rent a van at "Jeep and Car Rental" walking distance from the park, nice folks. Watch for sign to entrance... Read More

This was our maiden voyage with our new camper and we were super impressed through our entire process from booking to the day we left. What a beautiful camping area and very well maintained! Staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. I could have stayed for days never leaving the grounds! Twin Creek has set a very high standard for our future camping endeavors! If I could've given you 10 stars, I would have! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. Everyone was super friendly, from the sweet lady at the camp office, to the guys keeping the grounds. Super clean and very nice shower/restrooms. We had heard there was a bear in the park one morning. So we had kinda been on the look out. Our last night there we were outside about 8:30 and my husband says to me "there's a bear, shhhhh". Sure enough i look and there he is eating a pumpkin. Then he walks behind this little building and comes back out 3 times getting more food, this time corn stalks. I had taken pics but then i started a video. We got to see him stand up. He was huge my husband said probably 8 ft tall. It was a great experience! First time I have seen a bear up close. Thanks for a great time. We will be back with our friends that have a Motorhome!

We couldn't have been more satisfied with our recent stay at the Twin Creek RV Resort. On arrival to the resort we were immediately greeted by staff and assisted to our back-in spot. We loved our stay the staff was very friendly the camp sites are clean and roomy. We had a firepit/grill, picnic table, and long seating beach. Our site was backed up to the mountain and very peaceful and quiet. The pool and hot tub are clean and nice. Only about 2 miles or less from downtown. Grocery store and gas station within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

We were not impressed with this park. The ladies that run the place have so many rules that we were constantly trying to stay between their lines. Then, I get home and I have an extra charge on my card with no explanation. We will choose another RV park when we go to Gatlinburg.

Paved roads, paved sites, concrete patios, lots of space between sites, nice creek side sites, trolley bus stop at the end of the driveway, car rental, walking distance to grocery store, clean and well maintained. They care about their guests, and it shows.

We had a wonderful stay at Twin Creeks RV Resort! The campground was clean as were the restrooms. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful! The spots are level and ours had a bench, picnic table and fire pit. It was so quiet and lovely there we slept with our windows open so we could hear the creek and all the night bugs. Can't wait to go back next year!!

Stayed at Twin Creek for 3 weeks. This is a great RV Park located just 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. There is a trolley stop just outside the campground (CG) that will get you around the area. Across the street is a very nice grocery store. The CG is beautiful and very well kept. Lots of shade trees. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. There reservation process is very old fashion and could use some automation. The picnic tables and benches could use updating. I loved the look, feel... Read More

Very quiet camp ground. The camp site was clean and large enough for our 34ft camper and full size supercab truck. It was close enough to the center of town but far enough to be peaceful and woodsy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I was very disappointed when I call for reservations asked for a pull thru and I told them I had a motorhome 35ft.and a tow dolly pulling a mini van, they said fine that I could have one, well when we get here they tell us we have to take off the tow dolly and they would put it some where and when we were ready to leave they would bring it out for us, I told her we didn't want to do that because we are senior and that is why I asked for a pull thru, she said you should have told me that and I would... Then she said that we could leave the tow dolly on if we wanted to pay for two sites, I told her we don't have that kind of money, so they charged us 10.00 a day extra for the other site, It was a different site then we were going to be getting, when we get there we pull thru the site was suppose to be for two campers, our front was just about on the road and with the dolly hooked up we could harley get our van behind the tow dolly, if that was not enough everything at the campground was so over priced, we washed two loads of cloths in there laundry and it costs us 13.50 just to wash and dry, while doing laundry my husband wanted a pack of cheese crackers and 1.50 a 6pk. come on now at most they are 1.00. They have signs everywhere don't do this and don't do that, you can't even move a rocking chair on the porch they have a sign. We were very disappointed .I would like to say something nice about the campground because I am not some one that just complains .

This is not a complaint, but an observation - the office hours are very short. They close at 4:00pm, however I noticed that they staff/owners live on site. I'm sure if there would have been an emergency, they would have been able to assist. They accommodate late arrivals, however if you don't have a reservation you will be out of luck until they are open. I highly recommend this campground.

Facility is very well maintained. As others have said the restrooms are very clean and the rest of the grounds are very clean. We stayed for 7 days and had a good time. Very professional and friendly greeting and check-in. Great set-up at site with picnic tables and benches to sit on. Trolley picked up at site to get you to downtown Gatlinburg. Great place to be to reach the Smokey Mountain National Forrest and hike the Appalachian Trail. Loved the rockers on the front porch. Nice facilities!

Great place to stay. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The office closed at 4pm which can be inconvenient. They will give a free night stay if you buy a certain amount from their woman's boutique. It depends on the amount per night they charge ours was $55 we needed to spend. However, there wasn't much that was less than $60. I guess you do get something for the stay.

We were there at the end of their season. The pools and outside actiki ties were closing g for winter. The shower and bathrooms are first class.Very close to downtown but secluded enough to be out of the traffic noise. The folks who run the business could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend staying there if you are planning a trip to that area and the Smoky National Park.Paved and level campsites with tables and fire ring.

While there, they were very accommodating and always so polite and friendly. I was truly impressed and will be staying again when we return to the Gatlinburg area.

RV Park is very close to entry points to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and very close to the main street in Gatlinburg... Read More

I would stay again.

Read More

The creek campsites back to mountains and trees and there's a scenic drive immediately behind the campground. Despite proximity to the highway, we did not find it noisy. The children enjoyed the playground and playing in the creek. We also made use of the swimming pool to cool off one evening. They have commercial-sized washers & dryers, coin-operated with quarters available in the camp store.

Then he walks behind this little building and comes back out 3 times... Read More

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities

The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.

The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
