About Jebel Ali Port Dubai
Operated by DP World, Jebel Ali Port is the largest gateway hub in the Middle East region. It enables trade between the eastern and western markets: North Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.

Terminals at Jebel Ali Port
Jebel Ali Port consists of three terminals that are used for carrying out different operations.
Container Terminal 1 (T1)
Container Terminal 1 is considered one of the busiest terminals at Jebel Ali Port due to its well-integrated shipping capacity. It can carry cargo of up to 9 million TEU. With 51 quay cranes and 15 berths, T1 allows ships to easily moor and load or unload shipments.
- Container Terminal has 213,455 TEU stack capacity with 3 reach stackers
- It has 2582 reefer points (electrical power points for refrigerated containers)
- It has 37 empty container handlers
- It can accommodate 9 forklifts, 415 tractors and 459 trailers
Container Terminal 2 (T2)
Container Terminal 2 is the second most popular terminal at Jebel Ali Port. It consists of 32 quay cranes and 8 berths and has room to load and unload cargo of up to 6.5 million TEU. T2 is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that has been designed to reduce the carbon emission by up to 30%.

Container Terminal 3 (T3)
Established in 2014, Container Terminal 3 (T3) is a technologically-advanced terminal at Jebel Ali Port. It is also known as one of the largest semi-automated terminals in the world.
T3 consists of 5 berths and has a shipping capacity of up to 3.8 million TEU. It comprises of 50 automated rail-mounted gantry yard cranes (ARMG) as well as 19 automated quay cranes that help in handling Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCV) of more than 18,000 TEU.

Upcoming Terminal in Port Jebel Ali – Container Terminal 4 (T4)
Container Terminal 4 (T4) is currently under construction. Sources say, upon completion, T4 will increase the port’s capacity to an impressive 22.4 Million TEU.

Container Freight Station (CFS)
Jebel Ali Port has a warehouse that caters to consolidation and deconsolidation of shipment. The Container Freight Station located outside Gate 2 at the port stores goods and products that needs to be shipped to various exporters or importers in or around the Gulf region.
Spread over 134,343 sqm, CFS has 11,900 sq.m covered and 122,443 sq.m uncovered storage area. It offers a myriad of services tailored to the customer’s requirements that include the following:
CFS offers Less than Container (LCL) facility that allows customers to share shipment space and cost with others
- Handles trans-shipment cargo
- Provides Full Container Load (FCL) facility to individual shipments
- Aids in cross stuffing and export stuffing

Cool and Cold Storage Areas
Jebel Ali Port has numerous cold storage facilities that are ideal to store items that require special cooling conditions. Spread over 9665 sq.m, they have a capacity to store chocolates, cigarettes, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.
